TIRE BALANCING / TIRE ROTATION

Tire Balancing and Rotation needs to be performed every 6,000 – 8,000 miles for the life of your tires. Out-of-balance tires cause a vibration that can be felt in the cabin of the vehicle. Additionally, tires that are out of balance will wear faster and unevenly, leading to a sooner-than-expected tire replacement. The similar can be said about tire rotation. Proper tire rotations help promote even wear to your tires, extending their life, and improving safety. Abe & Doc’s is an authorized Goodyear tire dealer, so we know tires! Stop in and ask us for a free tire inspection. We will look for things like normal tread wear, uneven tread wear, tire damage and tire pressure, and, of course, provide you with our honest and professional assessment. TPMS LIGHT (Tire Pressure Light) Starting in 2008, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) were installed to all light vehicles for sale in the United States. When the tire pressure goes below a certain PSI (Pounds per Square Inch), these monitoring systems activate an orange TPMS light on the dashboard to alert the driver that the tire pressure is low. It is unsafe to drive on tires with low pressure. If your TPMS light turns on, bring your vehicle into Abe & Doc’s right away for a free inspection.
